So.. two of my favorite online shop are: Makeupuccino and Pratwonam.

it's easily because they have the cheapest of them all!

what I really love about Makeupuccino was they have offline store in Bandung (you should come to their cute shop!), not to mention their online shop based in Bandung.

and Pratwonam was the cheapest online store, complete make up and they were using Tokopedia

(which means, despite of the easy transaction, also they use a lot of bank as their partner; because you know, most of online shop using BCA or Mandiri, and I used to pay with extra charge because myself using another bank account).

#88LoveLifeSoiree part Bandung (Event Report)

so, here it is

a few days before "the day", someone contact me and tells that I am one of the "lucky blogger"

who's invited to #88LoveLifeSoiree part Bandung

since I am a BIG FANS (yes I've told you for so so many times), ofcourse I said YES!

HHYYEEAAYYYYY

never been this happpyyyyyyy

but then, I have this-kinda-job, doing some make up for this short movie,

I have to work for 8am-12am and 6am-12am

this works for only two days, but too bad it was a day before #88lovelifesoiree

so yea, you can guess.

I woke up late. 

the event was planned on 11am, and I just woke up at 10.30 am. 

I am running and taking bath - doing my make up - packing my stuff in a rush. 

11 am I get stuck on the traffic.

like. seriously?

thanks to F, he made it so I can be there at 11.30

(from Antapani to Setiabudi, on the weekend and traffic jam, it's like magical)

so well. I entered the room.

it's already full of people. 

and can you guess?

Kak Diana asked me from her table, "We've met before, right?"

LIKE OMYGOOOD SHE REMEMBERED ME!

and well, we have lunch

and chit chat after that.

I just love when heard kak Diana and kak Dinda talk about everything

I just remembered when someone ask them, "how come you looks always happy? is it any tips?"

both kak Dinda and kak Diana says,

"No, we're not always happy. Sometimes we feel sad, or angry. But we never show it on social media.

It's okay for being not okay. To be sad, or mad. But, once you release the anger, that's it."

or this, 

someone also ask kak Diana, how she keeps being herself, and feel confidence with her uniqueness.

and Kak Diana says,

"I know maybe it sounds weird, but well. But as for me, the answer is being kind. I mean, I've got a lot of those eyes seeing me weirdly or what, but I just smiling at them. for example, There's some people who's asking 'is that refrigerator's magnet's all over your clothes?'

if you're just winning or what, they keep talking, right? so, I choose to answer.

'Oh yes ofcourse! do you want some? I have the pink and the blue one, maybe the blue one suits you better."

and soo, it's just 2h30m of chitchat, I guess?

and by that time only, I feel so inspired.

oh oh. there's one more thing.

at the photosession, I give Kak Diana and Kak Dinda doodle of theirself.

just to thank, I guess for being inspiring

and ask photograph of them with my draws. 

and once again, Kak Diana surprised me once again.

That one fine day

It was a lovely evening

Starbucks having their 50% discount, me and F's favorite.

We were having a cup of chocolate, it's different from the other day.

Coffee's always our favorite tho.

We sit outside the cafe, so F can enjoy his smoke.

And there was a moment, when I need to take a tissue.

I walk to the inside the coffeeshop, and see there's someone who's standing with others.

He looks different, like his old bag and cap. Even I'm not sure it's true color. He stand but he takes his distance. I'm pretty sure maybe it's his first time buying coffee in such a 'fancy' coffeeshop.

And so, I walk away and tell F as soon as I sit

"You know? I think I saw one strange man, he looks like he's not sure what to order. Maybe it's his first time buying something here. He looks confused, I wonder. Poor him."

"Yea, maybe he's just one of online driver. You know, buying things for his clients," F's said.

"Oh well. No wonder he keeps calling. I mean, I wonder why there's still people using monochrome's phone."

And we keep in silent. Until my eyes catching him walk outside the coffeeshop.

"Oh, here's that guy I was talking about!"

Both me and F seeing him, and soon after the security catching him.

Not for so long, there's another guy walk into that "poor looking guy", and well.

That guy is a pickpockets.

And security catching him. Even he's trying to run, makes everyone on the mall watching them.

"Well, I think you were eyeing the wrong guy," F said.

It makes me even sadder.

I mean, I've put my heart in a wrong guy.

And just, why?

I am, I really am trying for keeping my positively.

Is it too hard to putting somekind of, trust?

Local Liquid Lipstick War: Mineral Botanica, LT. Pro, and Beauty Story

Udah sekitar 3 tahun terakhir

(atau aku notice semenjak NYX ngeluarin seri SMLC-nya)

kayaknya liquid lipstick, (terutama matte) jadi fans banyak orang.

dan nggak hanya produk luar negeri doang,

belakangan brand lokal juga nggak kalah ngeluarin matte liquid lipstick

disini aku (baru) punya 3 yang asik banget untuk di obrolin:

Yes, ada LT. Pro Long Lasting Matte Lip Cream (05), Beauty Story Chiffon Matte (Ultraviolet), dan Mineral Botanica Soft Matte Lip Cream (017; Spice Mauve).

Ada beberapa poin yang akan aku ulik, mulai dari yang paling luar dulu yah;

Packaging

Beauty Story dan Mineral Botanica memiliki kesamaan bentuk botol, dimana bentuknya sama-sama seperti tabung panjang. Sedangkan untuk LT. Pro, dia bentuknya kotak kecil. Kelebihannya dari LT Pro sih dengan bentuknya yang lebih compact, dia yang paling mudah dibawa kemana-mana. Apalagi bentuknya yang kotak, nggak gampang menggelinding juga. 

Sementara itu, packaging LT Pro dan Beauty Story lebih 'jujur' karena ia botolnya yang transparan memudahkan kita untuk melihat, warna aslinya seberapa dan sisanya seberapa banyak. Botol mineral Botanica hampir 80% ketutup dengan labelnya yang penuh informasi (seperti ingredients). Apalagi warna di dasar botol Mineral Botanica nggak sama persis seperti swatch-nya. 

Aku suka sih sama desain Beauty Story yang feminim banget, dengan tutup yang soft gold cantik banget.

Tapi, kalo disuruh milih, buat packaging tetep milih LT Pro karena compact dan bentuknya yang kotak itu. Nggak gampang nggelinding nilai plus banget, nggak ada cerita lipstik ngegelinding sampe ke bawah kasur kan. 

LT Pro: 4/5

Beauty Story: 3.8/5

Mineral Botanica: 2.5/5

Spatula

Nah, disini mulai seru nih.

Soalnya, ketiga lipstik ini spatulanya sama sama berbentuk miring. 

Bedanya, kalo LT Pro bentuknya tebel dan miring di ujung.

Mineral Botanica terlihat sekilas seperti spatula lurus yang dipasang miring (semoga nggak bingung bacanya deh ya)

dan Beauty Story spatulanya miring, tebel tapi lebih panjang. Kalo di perumpamakan, spatulanya Beauty Story kayak punya LT Pro tapi di tarik keatas.

Nah, kebayang kan?

Dari ketiga spatula ini aku paling suka sama punya Beauty Story.

why?

Takarannya pas. Nggak tau kenapa, kalo pake spatula LT Pro dan Mineral Botanica, semuanya jadi agak lebay gitu waktu ngaplikasiinnya. Sekalipun secara tekstur Mineral Botanica lebih encer dan LT Pro lebih kental (yang nanti akan aku jelasin lebih detil), tapi product yang 'nyangkut' di spatulanya juga jadi lebih banyak, apply-nya juga nggak senyaman Beauty Story. 

Sebenernya aku nggak masalah sih pake spatula yang mana, 

soalnya aku suka apply liquid lipstick yang sampe bener-bener nutup warna asli bibir aku.

Tapi buat yang suka apply tipis tipis, mengaplikasikannya juga harus lebih berhati-hati.

LT Pro: 3/5

Beauty Story: 4.5/5

Mineral Botanica: 3/5

Tekstur Lipstik

Ki-Ka: Mineral Botanica, LT. Pro, Beauty Story

Kalo dari tekstur, LT Pro rasa-rasanya sesuai banget sama namanya, soalnya dia paling creamy. Hampir mendekati NYX SMLC lah. 

Mineral Botanica asalnya terlihat 'licin' banget, dan Beauty Story just right in the middle.

Karena tekstur LT Pro yang terlalu creamy, for my honest opinion: not my kinda lipstick. 

Mineral Botanica juga asalnya yang kerasa encer banget (dengan spatula yang sekali ambil banyak),

rasa-rasanya agak susah buat ngeratain warnanya di bibir.

Ya minimal, sekali apply buat base, terus di dab dab pake tisu buat ngangkat bagian yang terlalu tebal, baru aku apply layer kedua buat ngeratain.

Sedangkan buat Beauty Story, teksturnya yang nggak terlalu creamy dan nggak terlalu encer jadi favorit aku.

Buat setelah dipakai, LT Pro masih bertahan dengan tekstur creamy di bibir. 

Sedangkan Beauty Story dan Mineral Botanica, keduanya cepet untuk jadi Matte. 

Setelah jadinya, aku suka aja sih sama keduanya soalnya sama-sama nggak lengket. 

tapi buat first apply, aku lebih suka Beauty Story.

Staying Power

overall, semuanya sih transfer kalo dipake makan. Tapi nggakada yang mendadak abis banget sih. 

Kalo mau dibandingin, waktu makan kue, yang ilang duluan:
1: LT Pro

2: Beauty Story

3. Mineral Botanica

kaget ya? ternyata yang masih agak awet malah Mineral Botanica (yang review dari tadi so so aja). 

jadi ya.. untuk nilainya;

Scents

Buat wanginya, semua punya karakter masing-masing.

LT Pro wanginya kayak kue stroberi, manis manis kue, buah stroberi. Tapi wanginya nggak tahan lama banget sih. 

Kalo Mineral Botanica (aku nyontek kata Rachel Goddard tapi emang setuju banget) wanginya mirip banget kayak permen karet Yosan!

waktu pertama kali apply kayak inget wangi apaaaa gitu. Nostalgic banget.

Sedangkan Beauty Story wanginya agak manis kayak vanilla, tapi wanginya tipiiiis banget. 

jadi ya, paling nggak ada wanginya si Beauty Story sih. 

karena buat wangi ini masalah selera, jadi prefer ada wangi atau nggak kembali ke selera masing masing ya. 

Price

NAH! Ini yang paling krusial!

Untuk Harga, LT Pro dan Mineral Botanica aku dapetin di Toko Kosmetik Mahmud (yang orang Bandung pasti khatam banget kan ini dimana)

Sedangkan Beauty Story aku dapetin di Guardian PIM 1 (kalo nggak salah ya)

LT Pro: Sekitar Rp70.000 (8ml)

Mineral Botanica: Rp44.500 (4ml)

Beauty Story: Rp95.000 (4ml)

Kalo liat packagingnya, nggak percaya kan kalo LT Pro malah yang isinya paling banyak. 

Aku juga nggak percaya sih, tapi tulisan di packaging-nya gitu. 

jadi untuk ibu-ibu irit, kayaknya LT Pro oke banget ya. dengan harga segitu dapetnya banyak

Conclusion

Jadi. overall..

Disamping segala pro dan cons di atas,

aku paling suka masih sama

Hyyoohyyoooo

kali ini aku nggak nulis soal beauty atau jalan jalan,

tapi aku mau cerita soal one of my favorite book, like ever. ever. ever.

yes yes, the famous book, #88LoveLife vol. 2

Please understand this is not a review, 

but how this book suddenly change my life and inspire me everyday.

Jadi. prolognya (iya harus banget cerita prolog)

Buku ini ditulis oleh Diana Rikasari (one of my favorite fashion blogger, been reading her blog since 2009, I guess?) dan ilustrasinya dibuat oleh Dinda PS. (she's one of my favorite blogger too! been reading her blog since 2011, even I bought myself her product from curious and wear the bunny bunny head for sometime)

and well, I. AM. A. BIG. FANS.

udah kayak super seneng banget waktu tau Kak Diana dan Kak Dinda maen ke Bandung.

dari yang siangnya ngebelain nyari "hadiah" buat mereka (dan akhirnya beli bunga sih), terus dibawa seharian karena ada wisudaan temen, sampe duduk di Gramedia Merdeka dari satu jam sebelum acara. 

sampe udah mau nangis garagara ternyata bunganya udah mau layu.

Rasanya kayak "cocok banget sama hidup aku!"

everytime I saw my F's, this quotation always repeated on my mind.

through the ups and downs, good and bad, 

ternyata, emang iya. 

I was admiring someone once, but then it went nowhere. 

we're close enough, and that's it.

I am admiring him. but no, nothing more. 

it feels different when I'm with F's. 

because sometimes, I miss all about his imperfection

Life

At the end of the day, 

you are the leader of your own life.

People provide maps, you choose the path

And so..

yang aku rasain, aku selalu galau belakangan

lulus mau kemana? mau jadi apa?

nerusin karir di jurnalistik?

atau mau serius di Make up?

Mau balik pulang ke Malang?

Stay di Bandung?

Atau moving ke Jakarta?

That question tho, 

I mean, I've been asking a lot of people. 

some of them said

"Yaudah di Bandung aja sih, udah buka link gitu kan."

"Kalo mau berkembang ya harus ngerasain Jakarta"

"Kalo belom tau mau ngapain mending di Malang"

until (again, Mr. F) said

"Ya terserah kamu, itu kan hidup kamu. 

kamu nyamannya dimana? kemana? 

kamu harus belajar memutuskan sesuatu, 

minimal untuk hidup kamu."

and after read #09, it feels like. 

Dang it kak Di, you've got me. again.

I learned that in life, when we're lucky enough, lots of opportunities will come to you. Many doors will open for you. Nevertheless, as tempting as they all are, we do not need to take them all.

Take chances. but not all. 

Not only money makes you greedy, opportunities do too. Live life to the fullest, but take it slow. Leave some space for yourself. Keep the glass half full and half empty. 

Interestingly, some emptiness keeps you full.

I was too greedy when it talks about opportunity. 

there was a moment when setiap kali ada tawaran nge Make up, atau yang lain lain

aku suka nggak ngefilter. 

semua diambil, semua di oke-in. 

and somehow, too greedy for such an opportunity not really good for your life tho.

yang paling kerasa sih, 

aku jadi ngegampangin tidur dan makan (yang berbuntut jadi penyakitan)

dan skripsi yang nggak selesai selesai.

ada satu momen dimana aku tegas, aku nggak akan ambil gawean apapun dulu

minimal, sampai bab IV selesai

and well, I think it works.

Dang it Kak Di. You've got me. again. and again.

I just really love all the illustration here. 

Kalo mau dibandingin #88lovelife Vol. 1 dan Vol. 2,

buku yang Vol. 2 kerasa jauh, jauh, jjaaauuhh lebih berwarna daripada Vol.1

it doesn't mean Vol. 1 not that good,

I love Vol. 1 too, because there's a lot of pink pages :'D

(and not to mention, #88lovelife vol. 1 was a gift from F for our first anniversary)
